Are you passionate about instilling physical and mental health in young people?
 
Freedom Foundation are recruiting dance facilitators to be part of our programme of holiday club provision during school holidays across the East Midlands.
 
Freedom Foundation use singing, songwriting and dance to educate children about the importance of mental health and wellbeing. Our programmes help children to improve their self-esteem, build resilience and confidence to recognise the impact social media has on their mental health. We want to recruit individuals to our team who are passionate about using the creative arts to work with young people.
 
We are looking for experienced dancers and singers to join this team to engage and inspire 5 – 16 year olds teaching streetdance and hip-hop. You will be working with children and young people who may not have any experience of dancing and teaching them how to move and dance. Full training will be given on delivery of the sessions but you will need experience in streetdance and/or hip-hop and be able to engage young people in an upbeat and fun way.
 
The sessions are delivered in 2 – 4 hour sessions and will have a lead (experienced) facilitator and an assistant facilitator. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a programme which aims to instil long-term physical activity in children from disadvantaged areas and give them and their families a great time during the holidays.
 
Pay: From £12 per hour for Assistant Facilitators, up to £25 per hour for Lead Facilitators

Do you want to inspire the next generation of young women? 

We are looking for strong mentors, ideally with street dance experience, to work on our YWISE programme in the East Midlands. 

YWISE is all about empowering young women. You will work with a group of young women to improve their self-confidence and self-esteem through exercises and discussion, ensuring they have the skills and tools they need to take on a social action project. 

You will have strong mentoring and communication skills and be confident and comfortable talking about a range a different topics which could include mental health, bullying, racism, stereotypes, feminism, body image and social media. We encourage applicants with lived experiences to apply. 

You will receive thorough training to understand our work and all our programmes and receive a detailed understanding of the work you will be undertaking. 

Pay: From £10 an hour for Assistant Facilitators, up to £25 an hour for Lead Facilitators

Do you have experience of working with challenging young people, and want to help make a difference?
 
Freedom Foundation are recruiting mentors to facilitate our alternative provision programme across the East Midlands.
 
Opportunities are available throughout term-time and school holidays with pay ranging from £10 per hour for Assistant Facilitators/Mentors and up to £25 per hour for Lead Facilitators/Mentors.

We want to recruit individuals to our team who are passionate about using the creative arts to work with young people.
 
We are looking for experienced mentors with backgrounds in spoken word, poetry, song writing, singing, rapping and music to join our team to engage and inspire children and young people who are in alternative provision settings and may struggle with challenging behaviour, mental health issues, and are at risk. Full training will be given on delivery of the sessions, but you will need creative experience and be able to engage young people.
 
The programme is delivered in 2 – 4 hour sessions and will have a lead (experienced) facilitator and an assistant facilitator.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a programme which aims to enabled children to learn new skills and wellbeing tools, and receive mentoring to give young people the tools to make the right choices, find their right path and explore their creativity.

Do you have experience of working with children and young people with SEND requirements?
 
Freedom Foundation are recruiting SEND Facilitators to be part of our programme of provision across the East Midlands.
 
Opportunities are available for one-off days or throughout school holidays with pay ranging from £25 – £30 per hour depending on experience for Lead Facilitators and £10 – £15 per hour for Assistant Facilitators.  
 
Freedom Foundation uses singing, song writing and dance to educate children about the importance of mental health and wellbeing. Our programmes help children to improve their self-esteem, build resilience and confidence to recognise the impact social media has on their mental health. We want to recruit individuals to our team who are passionate about using the creative arts to work with young people.
 
We are looking for experienced SEND Facilitators to join our team to engage and inspire 5 – 16-year-olds who have additional needs which could include learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, and severe mental health difficulties. Full training will be given on delivery of the sessions, but you will need to be able to engage young people in an upbeat and fun way.
 
The sessions are delivered in term time and during school holidays.

We teach them to understand about healthy usage and reduced screen time, whilst supporting them to learn new skills and unlock their hidden talents.

We are looking to expand our team to reach more schools and community settings across the East Midlands and need your help to do this.

We want to recruit individuals to our team who are passionate about using the creative arts to work with young people. Our programmes, which have taken years to develop and hone will be entering a new phase. You must be able to teach under the Freedom Foundation ethos and follow strict lesson plans of delivery, feedback centrally and follow up thoroughly.

You will receive thorough training to understand our work and all our programmes and receive a detailed understanding of the work you will be undertaking.

You will be given thorough training, guidance and resources to do this.

DANCING AND SINGING WITH TODDLERS

Funky Tots is an interactive session for 2 – 4 year olds and their parent and carers.

Using streetdance, movement and singing we work with families to improve communication, bonding and physical activity and encourage children from a young age to explore emotion and confidence.

We are currently recruiting freelancer singers and dancers that can engage families in a fun and engaging way to take them through our Funky Tots programme. The sessions follow a pathway to teach bonding and communication alongside movement and singing.

You should have streetdance knowledge and experience alongside the ability to sing and use music to engage.

Contracts are Freelance – £25 per hour.
